Privacy

Last updated: 12 May 2026. This notice explains how I handle personal data collected through this website, the contact form, booking flow, analytics, and technical hosting.

Controller

The controller is Matej Lukášik, Slovakia. For privacy questions or requests, email matej@matejlukasik.com.

What I collect

  • Contact form: name, email, selected service, message, language, and basic submission metadata needed to process the inquiry.
  • Booking flow: details you enter in Cal.com, the selected meeting time, booking status, and related scheduling metadata.
  • Analytics: only after consent, Google Analytics may receive aggregate page views, section views, clicks, scroll depth, conversion events, and campaign parameters. Form content and booking identifiers are not sent to analytics.
  • Hosting and security: Cloudflare may process technical request data such as IP address, user agent, URLs, timestamps, and security events needed to deliver and protect the site.

Legal basis

  • Contact and booking data: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, to take steps you request before a possible contract, and Article 6(1)(f), my legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and managing consultations.
  • Analytics cookies are optional. Analytics cookies and Google Analytics use Article 6(1)(a), consent. You can withdraw or change this through Cookie settings in the footer.
  • Hosting, security, spam prevention, and service operation: Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests in running a reliable and secure website.
  • Legal or accounting records, where relevant: Article 6(1)(c) legal obligation or Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interests in handling claims and business records.

Who receives data

I use service providers only where needed to run this site and respond to you: Resend for contact form email delivery, Cal.com for bookings, Cloudflare for hosting and security, Google Analytics for optional analytics after consent, and email or calendar tools needed to reply and schedule calls.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, I rely on provider data processing terms, Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or equivalent safeguards offered by those providers.

Retention

  • Contact inquiries are kept while the inquiry or client relationship is active, and normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction unless a longer period is needed for legal, accounting, or dispute reasons.
  • Booking records are kept in Cal.com and calendar tools while needed for scheduling and follow-up, and normally up to 24 months after the meeting.
  • Analytics data is kept according to the configured Google Analytics retention settings. Analytics cookies can be withdrawn through Cookie settings or cleared in your browser.
  • Hosting and security logs are kept for the period needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the site.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection where the GDPR allows it. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings. You also have the right to complain to the Slovak supervisory authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky.

No automated decision-making

I do not use contact, booking, or analytics data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
